- Stichting Kind en Brandwond
- De Stichting Kind en Brandwond vult de behandeling van kinderen met brandwonden aan. Er is bijvoorbeeld speciaal oefenspelmateriaal voor hen ontwikkeld en door middel van video kan onder andere een verbandwisseling aan de ouders worden uitgelegd. Voor patiënten die langere of kortere tijd ontslagen zijn uit het ziekenhuis worden door de stichting speciale vakantiekampen georganiseerd.
- Nederlandse Vereniging voor Brandwondenzorg
- De Nederlandse Vereniging voor Brandwondenzorg heeft als doel het contact te bevorderen van hen die zijn betrokken bij de bestudering en behandeling van patienten met brandwonden door middel van: het organiseren van vergaderingen; publicaties; het onderhouden van contacten met verwante verenigingen in binnen- en buitenland.
- Vereniging van Mensen met Brandwonden
- De Vereniging van Mensen met Brandwonden heeft zich ten doel gesteld volwassenen, kinderen, familieleden en relaties te begeleiden en te adviseren na het ontslag uit het ziekenhuis, opdat zij zoveel mogelijk het 'normale' leven weer kunnen hervatten.
- Vereniging Huidfederatie
- De vereniging Huidfederatie is opgericht op 13 november 1991. De federatie is een koepelorganisatie waarin de samenwerking tot uiting komt van 18 verenigingen van huidpatiënten in Nederland met tezamen ongeveer 15.000 leden. Deze verenigingen behartigen de belangen van patiënten met een specifieke huidaandoening danwel van patiënten waarbij huidproblemen een onderdeel vormen van het ziektebeeld.
- Vereniging Samenwerkende Brandwondencentra Nederland
- De Vereniging Samenwerkende Brandwondencentra Nederland is een non-profit organisatie die zich richt op het stimuleren van de samenwerking tussen de drie Nederlandse Brandwondencentra in Nederland (Beverwijk, Groningen, Rotterdam) door middel van onderzoek, educatie en training. Dit maakt de VSBN tot kenniscentrum op het gebied van brandwondenzorg en brandwondenonderzoek.

- Stichting Eigen Gezicht wil de kwaliteit van leven van mensen met een gezichtsafwijking verbeteren. Mensen helpen sociaal weerbaarder en vaardiger te worden, zodat zij met zelfvertrouwen in het leven staan en een gelukkig en succesvol leven kunnen leiden met hun eigen gezicht.
- European Federation of Associations of Burned Persons
- The European Federation of Associations of Burned Persons was born in March 2003 when 12 European Burn Survivors Associations joined forces in Dreux, France. The aims of the Federation are very clear! EFAB's aim is to promote, develop and implement the following by all medical, paramedical, legal and psychosocial means: - contribute to the defence and recognition of burned persons' legal and social rights; -help out the medical body, healthcare and assist institutions in providing the best quality care and support; - promote and assist professional rehabilitation;- organise and participate in prevention actions; - intercede with public and private legal persons to improve the burned persons social and legal status.
- International Society for Burn Injuries
- The ISBI was founded in the city of Edinburgh, Scotland in 1965. Its first Secretary, General Mr. A. B. Wallace, said in 1965, "The delegates of the Edinburgh Congress aim to set up a permanent organization in the hope of reducing the incidence of this major scourge, as well as improving patient care, especially in developing countries."
- American Burn Association
- The American Burn Association and its members dedicate their efforts and resources to promoting and supporting burn-related research, education, care, rehabilitation, and prevention. The ABA has more than 3,500 members in the United States, Canada, Europe, Asia, and Latin America. Members include physicians, nurses, occupational and physical therapists, researchers, social workers, firefighters, and hospitals with burn centers. Our multidisciplinary membership enhances our ability to work toward common goals with other organizations on educational/prevention programs.
- European Burns Association
- The European Burns Association is a non-profit making organisation for the benefit of the public, to promote burn prevention, to study the prevention of burn injury and all other aspects of burn treatment. It also serves as a resource to facilitate communication and collaboration between burn care specialists. An exchange of information between the various burn centres in Europe will help us to promote the goal of the EBA.

- Although Changing Faces' primary focus is on disfigurements affecting the face, much of our work has relevance to disfigurements of other parts of the body, and we are happy to help with any concerns about disfigurement and disfiguring conditions. We address disfigurements of any origin, whether present at birth or acquired later in life.

- Alisa Ann Ruch Burn Foundation
- The Alisa Ann Ruch Burn Foundation derived its name and inspiration from an eight-year-old child, Alisa Ann, who was fatally burned in a common backyard barbecue accident. Founded in 1971, the Burn Foundation works in partnership with firefighters, educators, and burn care professionals to develop innovative programs and services.

- Burned Childrens Club
- A toddler and her slightly older brother were admitted to the St. Andrews Centre for Plastic Surgery and burns with horrendous injuries following a fire at their East London tower block home. The consultant burns surgeon on call that night in November 1994 managed to save their young lives, but questioned how they would cope mentally and physically with the years of surgery requied to rebuild their bodies. His conversation with a colleague in the unit turned to work being carried out in America with burns victims and the pair decided to find out more about what could be done for their young patients.
